Hi, I am toying with the idea of fitting a set of 255/100R16 tires to my
1996 HDJ80 with OME 2.5" lift kit. The tires are Michelin XZL. They work
out to be just over 36" diameter but obviously fairly narrow. Has anyone
tried this? Do you think they will fit without rubbing?
I have been told the tires are best suited to 6.5" rims. My standard rims
are 8". I believe there are 16 x 6.5 inch steel rims fitted to the Hilux.
Are the stud patterns the same? Will Hilux rims have suitable offset?
