Yes they take a heavier weight Rating from memory 112 where as 31x10 are 109. I used them in Oz after getting my Cruiser upgraded for towing 2900Kg and GVM 3400Kg ( and towbar rating checked). Engineer hired a rural airport to do high speed breaking and swerving tests, with 25 x 20KG bags of sand on board along with his test instruments and both of us wearing Crash helmets. I shared the airport hire cost with 3 other of his customers.

When certified 10plus years ago 265 x 75 x R15 were common in OZ, now no one imports them so have gone to 16 inch wheels to get the weight carrying capability.
