Tree surgeon looking for an 80

This message is for Chris who was looking for an 80 to tow a tailer for tree
surgery work. What's wrong with the ubiquitus Transit tipper? I have an 80
which I use for my tree surgery business when I need to tow a 3.5t ifor
trailer and also a transit tipper for brash, chips etc. I am down sizing my
business and the tipper must go, so if you are in the market for a 1999 ex
BT vehicle with full service history and less than 50k miles with a custom
built chip box and full width hidden tool compartment then drop me an email.
I am keeping the 80 for the present as I think the value has dropped
considerably and it has a few minor blemishes which detract although overall
it is excellent condition with factory winch and full set of lockers and 3"
exhaust.
Regards Kirk aka treefeller.

I might have this wrong but my understanding is as of last year if the GTW
is over 3.5T (or the vehicle & trailer max weights added are 3.5T, whichever
is the smaller in case a smaller vehicle is towing a large but lightly
loaded trailer and within 3.5T GTW) and it=92s commercial use you need a
tachograph. If that=92s right it=92s a plus for a Transit tipper.

I looked at this briefly last year with a view to towing a loadbank for
testing generators, using a Nissan Navara and decided it wasn=92t worth the
hassle, easier to hire in a small flatbed, nice to know if I have it wrong
because on occasion it would be useful to use a trailer for work.
