Over the next few years I want to explore Australia, renting a 4X4 vehicle for each trip would be too expensive…….. so last trip was Troopy hunting.

Next trip's plan is to drive from Sydney to Perth taking in the sights along the way, once in Perth I get my new roof installed.

Nice! :icon-biggrin:

Then where you going from Perth? Further North to explore The Kimberly's?

Very nice Charlie, the stuff of bucket lists

Awesome.

Looks like you are trying to get a truck on each continent.

Looking forward to the build!

The truck went well on the trip over, no faults..... And the roof has been fitted.

How much was the pop top Charlie? PM if you'd rather not go into detail in public ;)

Amazing machine - I quite fancy getting a roof conversion done on my 75 Troopy in Wales.

You can get the Alu Cab kits from various dealers in the UK

This is a good video, shows the fitting process of the roof.
