tyres advice

Hi Guys
Does anyone have any experience of the following tyres both on and off road
althought I think they are good off road but curious about the on road bit.
Fulda MTs.
Macho MTs.
Marshel MTs
Colway MTs
I know the BFGs are the best /most what people use but they are very costly.
I have gathered info and advice on going for the cheaper ones from the list
over time which I would prefare really as I only want them for off roading
exept for the nesesery road trip there and back. But there the issue lies
cause I dont want to compemise my on road ability even for the short drives
on road with them. My concern is the wet road and it will always be wet here
even if you set out and its dry it will rain, if just to piss you off.
I will be storing them in the shed for yeears in between trips and im
concerned that the retreads have already reached their life inregards to the
sidewall life.
The dealers will tell you what they think you want to hear in order to buy
them.
cheers

John,
MTs and wet roads don't mix full stop. OK, Jon managed to find some
tyres that provided a reasonably compromise, but they were expensive.
I have had good reports from local gamekeepers around here who use
Colway MTs on their Hiluxes and Troopers, however in your position I
would go for the Simex Extreme Tekkers look a like remoulds - I think
they are made by Fedima or some company with a name like that.

Hi Guys
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Just thought Id let you in on an e-mail
I received back from a tyre place recomended by a fello member here only a
while ago.
I have been told that there is no such thing as a 33/12.5/R16 tyre and they
do not exist. This was in responce to a query about buying tyres from him.
I told him id go else where and gave him a list of suppliers of the non
existant 33/12.5/R16 to look at. So guys be carefull on those rims as you
now do not have tyres on them.
cheers
