So I’ve had my 120 lc3 d4d for 7 years. Love it so much I won’t take the Avensis anywhere. Looking at putting a 2” lift kit on it but want to put some bigger mud terrain tyres on my spare rims to get a few more inches of clearance underneath. What size Tyre can I fit to standard 17” rims to get more height without cutting the wings?
Have 265/65/R17 cooper at3 on at the minute but want to go BIGGER.
Was told if I put 295/70/R17 on I’d need 30mm spacers. What have you lot put on without bother?

The 120 is not for me and never will be but you obviously love yours and that's always nice to see .

As i told my brother while talking about his 120 if it were mine 285/75 would be going on it regardless , 2" suspension lift plus a body lift and maybe some arch trimming but they would go on . I've found with my 90 that a negative offset wheel helps considerably .

Not that i'm trying to encourage you to experiment onto the slippery slope of truck modification :eusa-naughty: oh no i would never do that :eusa-whistle:

They would only give me an extra 5mm height from the 295/70’
Want to use the original rims I have if possible.
The 100 series are great but they are getting expensive to maintain. Age and mileage creeping up!

Even this doesn't give the truck an go anywhere look to me

305/70 on a -32 offset 16x10 rim , actually smaller than the 285/75 on a -35 16x8 rim that they replaced but the optical illusion of "bigger" made me grin
