So I'm a little stuck.
I currently have the standard 7 pin UK trailer socket wired in, and I'm in the process of wiring in a 4 pin trailer harness as these are the most common over here. But here's the trouble...
The US trailers (99% of them) use the Indicators as there breaks unlike our UK stuff. I can wire in the indicators and side lights fine, but not the breaks. If I wire in the breaks with the indicators, then when indicating my break lights on the car are also flashing - Not good.
I've had a thought about it, and I don't see a way of getting round this, without changing up the trailer wiring to match my cruisers. I've done some quick research and it seems there are some adapters out there which will sort this out. What's in these electronic boxes, that I can't do myself? https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Tow-Ready/118158.html
Anyone have any idea how to go about wiring in it?
