unknown item (80)

Hi Guys
I found a new item in the engine bay and no it was not the engine, I think I
found that last week. It lies directly under the air filter housing and is
round in shape and has two clips that open much like the air filter ones do.
I am just curious because I dont know what it is and if it should be changed
every now and again well I will need to do that.

Hi John,
It's part of the air intake box and is where a lot of the crud collects - just
undo the clips and empty it out when ever you change the air filter.

Hi John,

Merci Bien for that. I got fed up saying thanks so this will do for a while.
I have never cleaned this out because I never heard of any mention of it
anywhere or in the manual. Well are you a dad again.

Not yet. Itis supposed to be due in the first week of September, but
suspect it might arrive in the next few days.
Gilly's getting extremely fed up, it is growing rapidly and is well
above average size for this far into the pregnancy - the sooner it's
out the better for her!
