Update on running SVO canola oil fuel

When the Racor filter unit posts were around I had a quick look at the Racor
site and noticed the make a unit that has an integral 300W heater element -
anyone used on and would it help?

So I bumped it up to about 70% a few weeks ago. Then I ran into minor
trouble. Morning starts became lumpy, and idle stayed low/lumpy for about
10 minutes until the cylinder head etc all got nice and hot. This indicates
to me that my injection pump was having trouble pumping the less-fluid
canola thru the injectors. Duhhh ... I is a college graduate ...

Worth having a read about mass consumption of Biofuels - I researched
Biofuels for a potential film, but the science/economics/
environmental reasons don't really stack up - unless you lot are
prepared to give up meat to free up the fields and water for plants
amongst other things...?

Yes mass production will be virtually impossible, however it shouldn't
be condemned on that basis. I think that we are going to have to
harness variety of fuel sources in the future in order to survive.
