Maybe reach out to Dara at http://www.tuff-trek.com/ - admittedly he sells these, but should be able to give you some detailed info. Other than that, JayJay at UK-Overlanders runs an Uprack on his hilux that he's managed to crack once, but is a big fan.

Lots of the guys on here run Patriot racks, local made, good service, solid builds; and I know the frontrunner racks get general good press too.

Looks very similar to the Front Runner system.. Ive had my FR for about a year and I have no complaints yet.
