Touch=E9! Speaking of which, instead of using nail varnish to make my
hands look tidy after working on the car, what's the best hand cleaner
available in the UK? I've tried several (Swarfega, Tufanega green gel
stuff, hand scrub) but they work only just.
OK, whose hands are cleanest?

and it seems to be OK.

I think the trick is to apply a barrier cream first Roman, that's what I
heard but I've never tried it.

Jon.

as i own a business i go to the cash and carry and we get a box of 250 latex
gloves which work a treat :)
they even have some sort of talc inside to make it easier to put them on
oh the hands that do dishes..... ;)

Is that so you don't chip your nail varnish then Dyfed :)
I find latex gloves ok for really messy jobs, like greasing a bearing /
CV, but otherwise they make my hands too hot, keep splitting and find
their way between components at inopportune moments and leave me trying
to extract latex glove fragments.
What's wrong with a scrubbing brush, washing up liquid and some
patience?
Best Regards,
Jon.

Hi Roman,
I use Cooma's Manista Natural from the local car shop, works a treat
and I have lovely soft hands;-)
The key is to find a cleaner with a sand or similar abrasive material
in it - if you ask at the local motor factors they could tell what the
garages order.
