Sorry guys n gals but I could do with knowing what does the vx have that a
GS doesn't?
I know leather is one
But does the gs still come with the difflocks?
If so then Im on the hunt round liverpool way this week :)

THERE are a few Cruisers around Leeds for sale- and i have lots of time this
week and , should you so want to, i ll have a look. I was just speaking to
a mate in Exeter who mentioned a weekly car auction in liverpool( A1carauction
or so). Let me know

My target budget is 7k
Ive seen a few on autotrader and ebay for less than that
I need help (don't say a word!)

For UK models mechanically they should be the same, the main differences
being in the trim levels.
Mechanically in 1992, the 80s went to fully floating axles on the back, 16"
wheels and some slight changes in the chassis.
Then in '95 they went to 24valve diesel engines and slightly modified front
end (lights, grill, etc). They also changed the layout of the dash and
moved away from the classic grand piano look.
The main trim change for VX's came in early '94 when they introduced the
wood effect trim - it may not be pretty but it does add a dash of colour to
the interior.
It really is worth getting a hold of Glass' guide or Parkers to give you a
reasonable price comparison as well as a breakdown of the models and
refinements over age.
