VERY Important news for Africa Crossings : A Road from Sudan to Egypt!

There is a new ROAD open between North Sudan and Egypt - so not more evil ferry!

For anyone planning a trip down Africa, i would strongly recommend trying this new road. If it's anything like all Sudanese roads, it will be new tar, a welcome break from some of the more interesting roads you'll encounter.

Best thing : You can drive down south past Aswan and visit Abu Simbel. One of the top highlights in Egypt..

You still need a ferry from the one side of the Nile to the other side of the Nile.

As the plonks, each made a road on opposite banks !!!
