Hello Justin,
So sorry for the delay, I have been pretty much completely offline trying to get the project truck out of the shop.
I only have a small 2 car garage and everything has ground to a halt with the truck in the way (over schedule, over budget, over due, the usual.
)
It's rolling under it's own power now so time to put it aside and get back to work.
So, sitting down now and working on the inbox, good timing on bumping your note to the top of the pile.
I have worked with quite a few people on the international shipping, it's only ever been for one lid at a time and it has always been a costly pain in the butt.
Typically an international ride comes in at around 100-150 usd, last time I sent one to the UK I think I remember it was on the low end of that. Up till now I have not found a service that makes it any more cost effective to ship multiple lids at once (I'm all ears though????)
Some countries are harder than others and in those cases my customers have had good luck with an "EastBiz" company, shipitto.com
That might be something to look into.
For guidelines the 80 gates are packaged up at 54x17x3 and 29lbs
100 gates are almost exactly the same.
Even though I hate to admit it, there is no markup on the lids, they are already basically wholesale prices, shops over here in the states that buy multiple lids a year are all in the same price structure as well. I work with folks on everyone that I can, but the lids are priced as what they are (which comes down to; "way too much money to spend on a little bit more storage space".
)
So once again, sorry for the delay, hope that info helps a bit at least.
cheers,
Kevin R.
