Hi folks,

I'm preparing my Landcruiser 105 series for a long term overlanding expedition (thread to follow on this a bit later) and am currently decking out the interior.

If anyone can help me source the following preferably second-hand equipment, please let me know.

Overlanding equipment
  • 12v fridge
  • Water tank
  • 12v shower pump and shower kit
  • Recovery tracks
  • Manual tire compressor
  • Electric tire compressor
  • 2x MSR multifuel stove
Misc bits
  • Single forward facing rear seat
  • 2x wheel rims suitable for solid axle 105 series Landcruiser

Cheers

For your tyre inflation a cycle track pump should be good and better than a foot pump i use a Durite electric pump twin piston around 55 to 60 quids from most motor factors do think Chris had some tracks for sale a short while and try overland exchange for other bits good luck hunting and building

Happy birthday Steve! Thanks for the tips. Is overlanding exchange a facebook group or website?

80/105 wheels are not interchangeable unless you get seriously jiggy with it :)

What sort of fridge are you looking for? Size, make, capacity with freezer or not etc etc?

I'm looking for something around 50-60 litres and fridge only. Pretty flexible regarding make as I'd be interested in hearing about any second hand ones that are available.

Hmm, well depending on your timescales, I might have a two week old 60 Litre Snomaster Classic series, used once by the end of August.

We're going to Germany on the bikes and none of my fridges fit the Hilux build so I have had to buy another! It will get two weeks keeping beer cold and then its work will be done. I simply won't have a use for it. It comes with jacket, remote and 3 baskets. Now I don't WANT to sell it, but what do I do with it? I can't give it away, but I'd certainly offer it at a less than retail price and it would still be covered by warranty etc. They're a beautiful fridge and can be set to freeze of course which is dead handy when you want to defrost your kitchen freezer or do a big Christmas shop.

Sounds very tempting. I'll send you a PM
