I have an issue with some warning lights flashing on or staying on when i accelerate, the come off when cruising or decelerating , they are
alternator,
a/t trans
oil,
hand brake
timing belt.
All main gauges are OK and this seems to happen after the engine gets to temperature. Where do i start??

Also just noticed horn issnt working, fuses ok.
Checked alternator and this is producing about 14.1 volts at tickover , same at about 2000 revs

Sounds like a dodgy connection somewhere. Seeing as all those lights are unrelated, I'd start looking at a wiring diagram of the cluster to see what's common and check the cluster wiring. Possibly a bad ground.

Yes, grounding (e.g. for engine) or just bad connection in the plug for the alternator.
