Hi,
A few weeks ago I can recall someone on here talking about
fitting an in line water pump to assist the standard pump on their
cruiser. Does anyone have the mail? Thanks.

Was that not a fuel pusher pump to counter the effect of an additional
inline fuel filter - and assist the Injection pump
If so I have them

Niall,
No, it was definitely a water pump. The mail was explaining how
the pumps would pump through one another if one failed.

I remember posting on a thread about the BMW X5 coolant system which has an
only an electric coolant pump?
I have found a couple of other pumps but they seem mostly race orientated
with quite short lives quoted, around 1500 hours which sounds long but
suggests the MTBF (mean time between failures) will be much less than you
would want when overland...
