I can't get onto landcruisers . info. All I get is:
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.landcruisers.info.
* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy,
make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Is there a reason?
Pete

Hi Peter,
Working fine here and none of the standard alarms have gone off yet to
show that it is down, could it be some local DNS issue?

It's doesn't resolve the name at all.
Possibly hosting company DNS issues.

Have you paid your domain name fees? (And if not, should we be whipping
round to do so?)
My cached IP address for "www.landcruisers.info" is 213.133.65.71
(webs.e-scapemedia.com) and a traceroute to there is fine. But I can't
resolve any IP address for that URL as a name.

http://uptime.netcraft.com says: "Failed to resolve hostname"

Hi Roman,
Very odd, that is an old IP address from a couple of years ago. The
correct IP is 213.133.65.7.
I have tried it through various test facilities and they all point to
it being OK, but then when running a mail script on the website (I can
get in OK) to post a message about sunday it cannot find the mail
server on another machine.
Something not right on the old interweb!

Plugging
213.133.65.7
straight in results in "no web site is configured at this address".

Julian,
http://www.dnsstuff.com says:

OK, itendified the problems (someone's DNS server) and it is back up,
but might take a little time for the caches to update themselves.

Hi Peter,
It would do - shared IP address so can only access the site using the
URL.

Sorry, the message below was "sent" last night, but our email server
obviously couldn't deliver it until this morning due to the DNS issues.
Please ignore it.

Hi Christopher,
Yes, all paid up.
I think some are experiencing sporadic problems, but I think this is
down to their ISPs DNS caches otherwise it should be all OK.
