As per the title really,

Going to start rebuilding the front axle next week so putting together the tools/ equipment i'm going to need. What size bearing puller do i need? I see they come in different sizes.

It's a 105, just in case it makes a difference.

There's a cut out at the back of the bearing race so they can be tapped out with a punch.
They normally come out pretty easy.

Also when you're fitting the new outer races double check that they're fully home.. if it hasn't then on the first drive with the new bearings, there's a danger of the 52mm nut coming loose... it's not nice!

Yep, just to be clear Nick, we're saying no bearing puller needed. They tap out.

easy way to get the new races in is to cut a slit though an old one and use it to drive the new one on, the cut thought the old means you can get it out when you are done

When putting them back in you know there seated when the noise changes.
