Hi,
I am thinking of selling my Colorado he has done 134k miles two previous owners is a VX automatic D4-d lots of service history bodywork is rust free as is the chassis has never been welded and is solid has had new Toyota cambelt all fluids changed has 11 months mot one advisory ie front roll bar bushes which have been replaced. The only fault is when hot the transmission looses reverse this does not happen all the time and is intermittent then when cooled down reverse is back again. All forward gears work as they should i had a trans specialist do a stall test and a diagnostic check which revealed no faults or slippage so maybe an earth problem to a solenoid :confusion-shrug: oh and the electric aerial does not work what sort of price is this worth?

As said, prices are all over the place, but I would hazard a guess that without the gearbox issue, you may have realised somewhere around £4-4.5k.

With the problem, I think you're looking at £1k less.

All IMHO of course and I maybe being wildly optimistic or equally pessimistic.

Given the recent boom in asking prices I would suggest £19,500 for a quick sale.

Gov is buying them up i reckon they already know we will soon have more electric cars than there is electricity to run them , lets hope they are storing fuel under the house of lords ............ what could go wrong

Prices have definitely passed their floor for the 90 series, and I reckon they will slowly start to rise in value now. Its already happening here in Ireland where the 90 is commonly referred to as the 'last really good one'. (Not that there's much wrong with a 120, but the builders and farmers feel they are a touch soft). A tidy one could be had for 3 grand a couple of years ago, and they are 5 and a bit now..

I agree, especially as raptor wouldn't be my favourite on bodywork, but its a repeating of the pattern of the landcruiser legacy, first the 40s went berserk, 60s ain't cheap, 80s are even more not cheap, and the 90 will surely follow in some way, while not as legendary as the 80, its a very well regarded truck among those that know. But the top dollar should be reserved for the mint factory fresh, or the seriously prepped

my dad may be interested. hes getting rid of his 100 series due to rust and other issues. he doesnt want to be buying anymore. how good is it underneath?

Surface rust only on the chassis no welding done or needed
