A talented bloke. I watch the programs to relight my interest in what I used to do although it's a pity that engines and gearboxes were'nt rebuilt nor paintwork done but that would have taken up too much time. An unrealistic program however as labour and equipment costs were no way recovered on the sale of a car. Classic cars are worth so much now that I am sure Ed will find plenty of employment

Ed was the only reason to watch - the short fat one is just irritating.

BTW - did you see the recent Hummer camper build? Just wrong on sooooo many levels.

Yeah you right Dave it's all gone wrong when the bigger corporations think they know better to change things around missing the point of why the appeal was there in the first place.

I'm ashamed to say I have never seen an episode of WD, I am now watching the Humvee one and straight away I don't like that little fat one.

Probably had his fill of the show and Mike. As has been said it's not representative when you take Edd's labour, or the shiny expensive tools that just happen to be to hand into account, but it's more entertaining than a lot of the other rubbish on the box.

You can add Arron from Fast n Loud to the list, he's just knocked it on the head as well. What is going on? On a positive note it opens opportunities for others to step up.

Find an old episode Chas, they were brilliant!

Who you calling fat?

They also have two garages with another two mechanics working on the cars. I know 'cos Edd actually said so.
I just like the laugh and occasionally you pick up a neat trick

Be nice to see that Edd fella do his own show , maybe doing up an old car by means of promoting all the little specialist companies who can modify upgrade and improve upon every aspect of an old car .

A sort of "Pimp my ride" for real motor enthusiast .

Sounds like a plan there Shayne.....I was always hoping to see a 80 series on one of the episodes but never materlised only to see other 4x4's & SUV's instead.

WD had it's faults but it is (was?) still leagues ahead of some of those American car makeover/custom shows.

My favourite episode was the one with the Fiat Dino, always fancied one of those.

Enjoyed them. Mostly for Ed, it has to be said. The only American one I really like watching is Chasing Classic Cars with Wayne Carini. His mechanic, Roger must be in his 70s and is really knowledgeable (as is Wayne) and has a really good sense of humour.

That sweet little Lotus Elan stole my heart. An absolute honey.

The garage/farm where the earlier series was filmed is down the road from me behind Bisham Abbey near Marlow, quit often see Edd in the local Asda's early on a Saturday morning, I'm only about 5 foot five now ( shrinking the older i get ) & Edds about seven foot tall, can you see the picture in your mind lol
