Which model will appreciate in value? BJ43 (1983) or BJ60 (1989)?

Hi Guys,

Hope you all are doing fine. I'm considering selling my 1983 BJ43 soft top and buying a 1989 BJ60. However, in my country the 40 series cruisers seem to appreciate better in value over time. But i would like to know the global aspect of this. Which of these models is more sought after amongst enthusiasts world wide considering both vehicles are in similar (and good) condition?

To be more serious, I would say the BJ43 is a more sought after vehicle in good condition, but I would be interested, any pics???
Also not many BJ43’s around in Europe.

You will notice that I've modified the rear doors to accommodate glass windows instead of the clear plastic which is the original design. i did this for better visibility and safety. makes a big difference when driving on Sri Lankan roads!

Trying to convince you that the price of the BJ43 should be low for purely selfish reasons!!

if you look on sites like reezocar you will see the adverts for BJ43 and BJ60’s.
