Wierd Vibrations

Ah Julian
Im glad you found the Gremlin in the end.
It is amazing that these things not only happen us mecanically challanged
people but also to the experts aswell. The other good thing is that will all
your inspections now done , you didn't turn up any other faults.
So be pleased very pleased, if it was me I would have needed a new cruiser
after discovering that the chassis was twisted and could not be repaired.
cheers

| It turns out that I have a slow puncture on one of my rear
| tyres and it was down to about 2psi !!!! but because it is on
| the passenger side and I approach it from the other side I
| didn't notice it, also it wasn't that obvious when jacked up.
Well the "have someone watch you when you drive along" suggestion wasn't *that* far out, was it? Well spotted anyway.
I have a similar vibration at about 68mph +/- 3mph, but it goes away under acceleration or braking. My front tyres are pretty worn, and one has a slow puncture, so they are being replaced tomorrow (only with standard 275 Dunlop Grand Treks I fear ... =A3198 fitted and balanced for the pair).
I'm hoping that will cure the problem, but if not I will be in the market for suggestions too.

Hi Simon,
Pretty well - that's one of the problems with MT's with stiff side
walls it isn't that obvious because they don't look that flat.
