Received the strips the other day. They seem ok to me. They have a foam '3M' style adhesive on them. Maybe a bit less flexible than originals I have felt. But considering they will be trapped between the arch and the body I dont see why they wont work very adequately.

Motors Head Japan are also a very good supplier for genuine OEM parts, have used them a few times and found they are cheaper than Amayama

Is it hard/expensive to get the parts shipped/imported?

Personally, if your able to get the correct Toyota parts, it will be the most simple and reliable option for you

Looks awesome with the trailer! How do you find touring with a trailer, not worried about getting stuck on any tight trails? I do like the idea of being able to leave your 'home' to go exploring rather than having to pack the roof tent away each time. Where was that photo taken?
