Well swapped the transfer case and it is like a different vehicle so another job ticked off the list. As i'm sure a lot of you will already know isn't it funny how he list on an 80 just never seems to get any shorter though :wtf:

Just remembered the lad i bought it off had fitted a parrot hands free system to it and i'm now thinking it's because of dodgy installation of this?? cos the speedo lights keep going off

Spent today clearing three fallen trees from the back garden so next weekend will probably be when i start taking the dash to bits and testing thanks for the heads up. Elastictrickery isn't my strong point so the nephew will be getting draughted in to help.

Hello and please forgive my ignorance but, are the auto and manual transfer cases interchangeable i.e. can one from an auto go on a manual and visa versa.

Update on my last post is all diff locks are now released but, it would appear the worm gear on the motor shaft of the rear actuator is knackered (can these be bought seperately?) All sorts going on about how / why this occured which i won't go into on a public forum but at least i can use it...

Yeah i went oem on the rad almost spent the money on an aluminium one but for what i will be using it for i couldn't really justify the cost also nice to know i'm not just unlucky with the rusty wings.
