    Turbo (2L-T) CT20 swap for TD04 ?

    Anyone actually done this ? Particularly interested in what's involved, e.g. adaptor plate, oil/water feeds, etc. and where you got the parts I've also seen mention of the Saab/Volvo TD04 which I think is a 4-bolt fitting (like the CT20)

    @Phil01 Interesting. Where did you get it looked at? Was it a typical 'fast-fit' outfit or a 4x4 specialist ?

    @Phil01 Does your Exhaust have any flex-pipe in it ? Mine is a straight pipe fitted by previous owner. I don’t think there is any flex in the system which might be why there is such a pronounced ‘kick’ when engine shuts off.

    @chapel gate Bump. Not posted enough yet to be able to PM you, but reading about tuned fuel pins with interest. I have a LJ70 (2L-T) with the mechanical pump........is this the same pin or are there others available to fit mine

    Exhaust mounts

    @Phil01 Did you resolve this ? I have a similar issue. I've 'bodged' with some rubber strip applied to the part where the pipe is knocking, but not terribly satisfactory as still knocking when switching off.
