1hz idles after shut off

Hi All.

New to the forum. Finding my way around. I own HZJ 73 with 1 HZ motor.

ISSUE: after turning off ignition vehicle continues to idle (rough/poor idle) then shudders to a halt. Problem is intermittent but seems to happen more often, on hot days.

REMEDIES TAKEN: have already replaced shut off solenoid on injector pump. Problem persists.

Any advice/link already addressing this issue.

need to check first that there's no voltage AT ALL being supplied to the solenoid @ ignition shutoff...

that will isolate the problem to being either an electrical backfeed issue, or a pump issue.
