Sometimes You've Just Got to Tip Your Hat to Those Boffins Back at the Lab

I've just been having fun snapping various labels in Japanese on my JDM import and dropping them into Yandex Translate's image recognition doobly-wotsit. I really like the way it gives you back the same image, but automagically translated. It's like having Babel Fish glasses. And it has saved me several years learning Japanese... or several thousand £££s investing in a mail-order Geisha

So, well done boffins!

As a frequent traveller for work, I rely heavily on Google lens in Google translate (no need for a picture it does it live as you scan across the page) and the DeepL.

This soft AI I can be on board with.
