Yes, check the filler tube.

Had the same issue @Hemi so fitted the new valve with the old spring. The new spring needed 50x the force to compress which is wrong

There may be a fuel sediment trap attached to drivers side chassis rail. Would recommend draining and cleaning out. Mine was half full of water last time I checked which was about 5 years since last done

Hello Tony, The motor from NZ didn’t work out. There is an HJ61 in London storage for sale but it’s too much so I’m back to considering options of a 1HD-T conversion or just stick with the 2H?? It would probably be more sensible to stay as is and just get a nice 80 too

Currently discussing options with a contact in New Zealand. They are usually 24V whereas Australia are 12V. Not a showstopper but nice to have 24V. Ideally purchasing a whole car to ship over. Also looking into 1HD-T swap feasibility now!

Sounds like fuel starvation. Is there a fuel filter in the fuel tank? Check fuel flow at all junctions between fuel tank to engine.

I sourced all those for my 60 from Cruiserworld. Mostly before brexit and import duty! It may be worth going over to collect them if you have a big list.

I used Rubber bushes x 24 which were £10 each from Toyota but well worth it.
