Japanese Speaker Wanted. Apply Within — AKA. What is This Button For?

IIRC it's something to do with being able to move the shift without ignition on or foot on brake, to push the vehicle around in workshop for instance ? DON'T press the little red one fbnss is on about, it activates the ejector seat !

    Lj70 radiator

Presuming manual without the atf cooler in bottom ? Anyhoo, doubtful if you can source an oem due to age of truck, but there are loads of companies supplying aluminium ones. Milners as of a few years ago no longer have them and Roughtrax dont list them either. They are shown on Amayama and...

Perfect ! I would say that's a good choice. You won't be rushing then, especially if it is your d/d

Chassis Rust Removal -- Recommended Tools for Awkward Areas?

IMHO, and based on my own experience, 3-4 days is nowhere long enough for a thorough job start to finish to do everything bottom side, even without problems. A good detergent pressure wash/rinse/blow dry to get any loose shite/grease off will eat into your time. Weather will be a big enemy too...

Chassis Rust Removal -- Recommended Tools for Awkward Areas?

Yes, as a basic, but bear in mind the plan might change as you get into the prep work - i.e. tools and method of attack depending on what you find. It's a long and filthy job done properly !

Bloody Rain! Will it Ever Stop?

Same here Stu, loads of jobs, loads of rain. I've got one job on the 120 that has water ingress, bottom moulding each side of rear cargo area. Got the parts from Amayama and windows still taped up Not even thinking about removing glass yet.

Gearbox Fluid Renewal Without A Flush

No dipstick on these auto transmission (oddly) and the expensive item inside the transmission sump is a strainer, rather than any replaceble filter.

When I push the accelerator pedal I can hear water sloshing around,

Try using the bleed screw on top of expansion tank near filler cap and top up if neccessary.

Injector Replacement and EGR Clean - 2003 KDJR120

Agree. Sounds like you had a laugh along the way - obviously not much swearing to put her off ! A good help when the helper is in front re-organising kit as you put it down to pick up another tool or hand them to you. I had a company apprentice with me once, that was so interested he knew what...

Injector Replacement and EGR Clean - 2003 KDJR120

Laid out like a surgeons kit Sam, perfect ! Ive started out like that with jobs that soon descend into chaos tool wise. I do try to put sockets back into case and screwdrivers and different spanners with their like, but still take sorting when I want one. You didnt list a BFH, but considering...

    Map sensor replacement

Not as a 'norm whatever that is. Although I have never had trouble with one, they can on the odd occasion play up. I have, as others, given it a very gentle clean. I used switch cleaner as I didnt have specific stuff, and cotton buds on the small elongated bulb that is the sensor inside. Very...

Chassis Rust Removal -- Recommended Tools for Awkward Areas?

Karl2000 has them too. Make sure you get the high rise and not the low. The high rise give about the same as the metal 7" ? Which is loads when your under a cruiser on a creeper. The low ones at about half will give you little advantage, so worth spending the extra.
