    Found a photo of the plastic bush removal from a Russian site. Don't know Russian but it looks like you just press the lock tab to remove the plastic bush.

    Updates - i have managed to do the oil plastic bottle shim on the white plastic half "ball" mod in Timmy video. But my steering play is still there although it is reduced. Checking around after installing the steering rack back, it turns out that the bushing/bearing circled in white below...

    Grinding noise / feel full lock reverse

    Not sure if it will be your problem, but mine did it in full lock forward last time, and I grease the steel stoppers on both sides - see blue circle below. This is looking towards the front of the car at the driver side tie rod. Its a metal to metal stops at full lock - there is another metal...

    Upon further inspection, I think the play I had in my steering systems comes from the steering column section inside the car below the steering wheel. There is so call a telescopic collapsible part of the column, which in an accident will collapse to shorten the column so the wheel dont impact...
