The voluntary work I do is similar to 4x4 Response, but with an independent organisation which I'm the chairman of. Part of that work takes me on green lanes which as others have pointed out you need insurance for anyway. My current insurers seem to understand how the 2 can work together......

Tried for a quote here today - They didn't want to quote for me. - 80 series cruiser with mods and Voluntary work cover. think I'll be staying with my existing insurer

Quick question - are we going to just do as much off roading as possible en route to Romania and whilst we're there? Or are we going to be visiting towns and other tourist attractions?

I've done the Mont Blanc tunnel before and I know what you mean, it's expensive and boring. Just a way to get you from A to B. camping in the roof tent both ways, but with 2 weeks in a villa in the middle of it all
