"An additional dash mounted switch" I dont have that.
So starting with the switch to the left of the steering wheel in off position I would shift to low and that makes the centre diff locked? And then moving the switch to the left of the steering wheel would cause other lights to come on the...
I have the switch to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. but dont know if its fake. if i turn it with rig running nothing happens. (note: several dashboard indicater light are out so not sure if these are as well)
If i put it in low diff yellow lock icon comes on dash
i had tested the motor before install and it must have stopped in wrong position after testing. Took it out, ran a cycle. Then pulled wipers down and both were then aligned in the cycle
So I put in a new wiper motor. seems to be functioning fine for now. Problem is the wipers stop in the up position. i must have missed some arm positioning technique when i put it in. any way to fix that without taking apart
Yup it is on the "right side" :)
Removed glove box > Removed Cover > Took out blower > was full of debris > cleaned it out > works perfect

So a couple things
1. heat and a/c seem to be working but putting fan above 2 it sort of shakes/rattles under the dash and does not project more air on higher settings.
2. Is rear vent supposed to blow cold air? Because regardless of setting it blows hot.
Bought few months ago. Wipers always seemed slightly weak ( compared to other cars I have had) but they worked. After about a month they just stopped working one day..would not turn on.
Bough new motor from junkyard. Worked for about 2 weeks then
failed. 2 days ago started making a whine noise...
So if you guys are suggesting these other things does that mean you think the shop who suggested air flow sensor made a wrong rx?
they said:

Due to PO171 had a shop eval "lean". Said they cleaned Mass Air Flow Meter and saw no improvement. Said replace Mass Air Flow Meter. They also said would be $1130 and about $900 of that is the part.
Part price seemed high so I talked to another tech who said "should buy new - not used". And...
