I need to re-calibrate the tacho as the new fuel pump is making the RPM read lower. Anyone an idea on how I go about doing this? Nothing in the Ellery manual on it that I can see? I've had the dash out but its all electronic, needle doesn't move manually, reverts back if moved.

Thanks Beau, I was advised by KR to go with 0.77 and the EGTs are much better plus I was getting some pedal/engine vibration when punching the throttle at 0.60 but only marginal now. So the tune seems good for now, getting the turbo to boost to 20psi needs quite a lot of throttle and I haven't...

Had a go at checking the pump timing at TDC. In my Max Ellery manual the reading for Europe is 0.39 - 0.43mm, for other countries it is 0.58-0.62mm. Tried it at the Europe setting and it definitely didn't like it so then thought because the pump is from NZ I should set it to the other countries...

Few more parts arrived. Happy with how it looks, Seems well finished. Can anyone tell me if little plastic disc is meant to be in the clutch fluid reservoir? The clamp joiner thingy arrived also, can't see it failing, clamps down solid, wonder if it is noticed would it be an issue...

I haven't got it tuned with the dial gauge yet but it ain't far off. This is before I've turned up the boost on the turbo, the little engine knock from before the install is gone now. Have to sort the throttle cable before I can take it for a test run.

Bit the bullet and attempted a start up yesterday. I took a 12v supply off the ignition in the end, a black and red cable that initiates on first key turn, from looking at the electrical schematic it is linked to the alternator. Took a bit of priming and turning over but it eventually caught...
