I had calibrated max close to factory specs. To exclude any doubts I gave up to genuine VNT control and I use a VNT controler from these guys : www.tuning-diesels.co.uk My opinion is that VNT on our big 4.2 engine is worthless, except when you want to squeeze all the potential.

Hi Thor, unfortunetly I do not have a positive answer for you. I have tried every kind of tuning without succes. I am looking to buy an ECU from Australia, Graeme from GTurbo thinks that it will work. I have not found a serios supplier for an ECU, I tried Facebook and here on forum.

There is absolutely not necesary to have an intercooler in to a standard 1hdt or 1hdft. If you intend to raise boost above 15psi and to tune the injection pump then an IC is a must. FMIC would be my choice. PDI are having complete kit, very easy to install even with average mechanic knowledge...

Go with a GTurbo (https://gturbo.com.au) my choice would be BadBoy specs. This turbocharger with good injection pump tune will improve the drivability of your truck to modern standards. It wont come cheap but you get more than enough for the money spendt

New goodies, VNT control box for best control of variable vanes. The box has MAF recalibration function also.....will see what changes can be done.
