thanks guys, looking for a good repair manual for fj40, found one "Haynes : 1968-1982" But it does cover a lot, hope to find that does. Like all old fj40s they have a lot of things that need to be gone through, repaired or replaced. lucky no rust on this one, shows signs of a hard life.
