    Ironman Suspension Lift

Thank you Nick, Do you recall the part numbers for the front and rear coils/shocks? On another thread I have been adviced to use TOYO38B for the front instead of TOYO38C. The C version they say is too bumpy!! I will get the suspension fitted by the supplier. Regards Ekendra

Hello Tommo! I am from Sri Lanka and I own a Toyota LC Prado 1997 LWB - KZJ95W/1KZTE. I am planning on changing my standard suspension with an Ironman suspension as I have been told that I could expect a firmer ride. Right now I have new front and rear shocks with new Toyota rear coil...

    Rear suspension Prado KZJ95W

I own a Prado (1KZ-TE)+(KZJ95W) 1997 model. I have recently replaced the rear coil springs with Toyota coil springs (part no: 48231-6A450) and fitted Tokico shockabsorbers. I did this as the rear was "bottoming" every time I went over a 3" to 4" road bumb. Unfortunately this did not help as...

    2nd Start Button

Steve! Do you know where about the Transmission ECU is located? The rubber bushes and mounts were replaced and it can be that the wires connecting to the ECU got disconnected. I will creep under the vehicle to check. Regards Ekendra (4S7EF)

    2nd Start Button

When I purchased my vehicle some weeks ago, the 2nd Start button, when depressed, showed that it was switched in via the dash board indicator panel. Since the purchase, the vehicle has been in and out of the repair shop and now the 2nd Start button does not engage! The dashboard lamp was checked...

    Shock absorbers for Prado KZJ95

Replaced front shockabsorbers with Tokico struts. The mounts were badly damaged as well but as I could not find new, these were repaired at a local lathe shop. The dashboard was refitted. Now the "thud" sound have gone!!

    Shock absorbers for Prado KZJ95

I have recently purchased this vehicle. I am in the process of replacing all parts in the suspension that are suspect. Right now I have replaced all worn out mounts, bushes and tie-rod ends but I still feel uncomfortable with the "thud" noises every time I hit a rut on the road. The vehicle will...

    Shock absorbers for Prado KZJ95

I am thinking of changing my shock absorbers on my Prado KZJ95 and wonder if anyone has had any experience with the KYB Excel G series for the Prado? ARB struts are on offer at thrice the price of a KYB 341232/344288. Any comment will be appreciated.

Prado or Colorado, whats the difference??

I live in Sri Lanka and I have recently purchased a 1997 Prado (1KZ-TE/KZJ95) the Japanese domestic version. It has no Rear Diff Lock switch. Does that mean that it is equipped with a Limited Slip Differential? Is there anyway to check this? I am relatively new to Prado 4x4 Thanks Ekendra
