    landcruiser club Ireland

Wow where did those three years go…the bodywork job went well. Still holding up and felt it was good value. As with all older cruisers the rust is a challenge and I am fixing one wheel arch over this holiday period. Just some Rust ‘killer’ and filler. But needs cutting out in time.

Seeking Advice on KZJ70 (1KZ-TE) Head Replacement: Should I Stick With It?

I replaced the the head on my 1996 kzj 70 about 8 years ago with a non oem head and all has been good. I also replaced the radiator and water pump as I suspect the engine overheated and the radiator was original. I suspect that may have cracked the head. At the time the mechanic checked the...

    LJ70 Build Thread!

Fantastic read, this could make a great book. Would enjoy an update on the life of Ben in Australia and how the house extension went and how the 70’s are going. But undestand the busyness of young family and doing selfbuilding. Respect for all your accomplishments.

Didn't get to him yet.. Am doing a selfbuild and this takes every hour available. I need to get new windscreen rubber as he will have to take the screen out and my one is old and very inflexible... so probably better to cut the screen out. The screen rubber seems to be described as 56121...

Hello all , Toyota enthusiast new owner of a 95

Yes a lot of landcruisers up at a mart I go to at Carnaross. A lot of 80's to be seen in go working order. Mine is the only 70 I have seen in a while there. I think that there are a lot of old 4x4's there because sheep farming is a pretty tight business.

But thats from a man who has had many enjoyable trips and memories from this specific combination. Main thing is to get out and walk cycle and take in...

Having some work done by a guy in Rush, North Co. Dublin soon. Will let you know how it turns out. He is cutting out a bit of rot at one point at the bottom of windscreen frame and fixing front wing, where the brother decided to use the Kzj to block a rampaging cow and hit a jcb in the process...

See a 70 for spares on eBay at the moment. Also I think that I have my rear side panels of my 96 kzj 70 in the barn here in Lusk, Co. Dublin, that you could use as templates.
