I used to drive FJ40's and 45's in the 60's and 70's when drilling in Africa. I bought my first one when my Land Rover lost front and rear halfshafts in a little bit of desert and had to walk 50 miles to camp, and someone lent me a 45 to go and recover it. I never looked back! I owned 4 during a 10 year period. When visiting family in Australia 10 years ago I spotted a 40 with a few mods (engine v8 Chrysler, suspension raised, bigger wheels,) so I bought it, for nostalgic reasons!! However, I dont live in Oz, so I have decided I want to bring it to UK and have a bit of fun.
