Mad Miff

For 12 years I drove a 2000 Frontera but it started to cost too much to keep repairing, so we went looking for a replacement. I helped my friend buy a 2004 RAV4 and I was impressed with the high level of standard equipment and build quality of it. I test drove a few old Amazons, which were impressive because of their size but too expensive to buy and run. I looked at Grand Cherokees, Touaregs, Discoveries, Range Rovers and Shoguns but none of them ticked all the boxes and I was still drawn towards a Land Cruiser.

I went back to a previously test driven Amazon to make an offer but they wouldn't budge on the price so I walked away, a bit down hearted.

I got home depressed, then my friend showed me a 2005 LC J120 which had just been listed on ebay. The description ticked most boxes so we arranged a viewing and test drive the next day.

Well that was it, it ticked every box with extras on top, so we bought it. That was in August and I can't drive it enough, it is fantastic.
