    AHC Trouble

Milners 4x4 at Darley Dale Derbyshire have new sensors at reasonable prices. However I have been through all you describe and the problems are probably not the sensors. I rode around for 2 months in LOW setting, with occasional neutral/normal incurvations. I concluded it was the pump/brain...

    Ongoing AHC Problems

Convert to shocks and springs and save yourself a shed load of money and time in the long run. Just done mine - see my other threads on the subject. Once my AHC started to go wrong, it never recovered and in my case, changing the ride height sensors (expensive) didn't solve the problem...

    AHC replacement 100 series

Hi, as I described before (see previous threads) it's behind the dash between the steering column and the centre console. See the the video linked in the same thread. You will not need any other information to do the job, it is all there in the video, check it out. It's righthand drive and UK...

    AHC replacement 100 series

Sorry forgot to say, there was no metal plate behind the dash trim as shown in the US video. Don't know whether there should be one on 100 series as opposed to LX470 or it had been left off at some stage in the past. My LC has just topped 300K miles and the dash and ventilation pipes have...

    AHC replacement 100 series

Stop press, I followed the youtube instructions referred to in my previous post and the AHC ECU (suspension module) was exactly as shown in it, despite it being a LX470 and also US based video. However the part number Milners quoted was correct and indeed the ECU did say AHC on it...

    AHC replacement 100 series

We have just replaced the AHC on my 100 series 2006 vintage with Milner 4x4 kit. And all fine after 2 day's work, including front top and bottom wishbones. Milners replacements come will all new bushes and bolts and top and bottom ball joints, hence going to the trouble of complete...

Anyone know where the windscreen washer relay is located. Main and rear screen washers not working, but headlamp washers are! Tested pumps, fuses etc all OK and but no joy solving the problem. Friend seems to think there is a relay somewhere? Any help/advise welcome. Neil

Replace Rear Shockers 100 series - problems getting hydraulic suspension pipe removal

Thanks for all that guys. Sorry to say have tried most of the "difficult" options offered and failed. However knowing the top brackets of the AHC connection to the top of the shocker will come away with the shocker once we have sheared the bolts is probably the key here. We sort of thought...

Replace Rear Shockers 100 series - problems getting hydraulic suspension pipe removal

Thanks Andy, have already come to the conclusion we may well shear the bolts holding the AHC pipe onto the top of the shocker even if we can move these nuts. So may well try the hole in the floor. But thanks for the thoughts.

Replace Rear Shockers 100 series - problems getting hydraulic suspension pipe removal

Hi, getting a bit desperate with this one!!!! Trying to replace the pipe from the top of the rear shocker that goes to the AHC globe - its corroded and leaking. Can't get to the nuts easily that hold the pipe flange to the subframe where it fits onto the top of the shocker. These nuts are...

LC 100 Manual 2004 UK spec

Hi Guys, any words of wisdom about fitting a new clutch to my MANUAL 2004 100 series? Just a hint of clutch slip when I have the Ifor W with a load behind me. Apart from take to a garage of course! Big job, shit job, don't attempt?? Any ideas of cost for parts and time needed, so I can...

    Changing wheel size

An important issue when changing rim size is to make sure the new tyre size maintains the same running distance and hence keeping the speedo accurate. For example my 285 60 18 wheels need to replaced by 285 70 16 so the speedo still reads 70mph when you are doing 70mph. There are calculators...
