    B F Goodrich Tyres

Bit the bullet and got two at £181 each balanced and fitted. The Toyos they replaced had only done 21K. Thanks for the comments.

    B F Goodrich Tyres

I need to replace a couple of worn tyres. I have always had B F Goodrich all terrain tyres. I've moved away from the deport that I usually ordered my tyres. Looking online I see various places advertising the all terrain but adding that they are summer tyres. I was under the illusion all terrain...

    Upper Control Arm

The link has already been replaced by the local garage and I guess is sitting at the bottom of a scrap skip. But thanks for the info re Julian, although I have read some very unflattering reviews.

    Upper Control Arm

Thanks again for the replies. Unfortunately I'm getting to the age that getting under and repairing things aren't as easy as they used to be so I tend to farm the work out to the local garage. I'm thinking about taking the truck to Overland Cruisers and let them give it the once over. Are they...

    Upper Control Arm

Thanks for the replies. The Coli has only done 140k and never had a tow bar fitted. I think the breakage occurred due to heavy loading and very uneven roads round here. While I was under there I did try rattling the other bushed bars and all seemed sturdy.

    Removal of Header Tank

My Colorado has always lost a little coolant but I could never find any leaks. During lockdown when it has not moved for four weeks I checked the coolant level and found the header tank empty. Looking in the Ellery manual it just says remove header tank but doesn't state how. I don't want to use...

    TRAVEL SOUTH TO NORTH AMERICA

Many thanks. I have contacted Progressive and although they will insure me for Canada and USA the vehicle has to hit the US first. Fortunately my shipping company goes to Baltimore after Halifax and they will arrange for the policy to start from there.

    TRAVEL SOUTH TO NORTH AMERICA

Just a quick note, I was planning to ship my Colorado to Halifax in April 2020 and cross Canada to Alaska and return through the northern US, but try as I might I am unable to find anybody to insure the vehicle. I have found companies willing to insure RVs and motorcycles but when asked for UK...

    Low Whistle when hot.

Many thanks for all your suggestions. Maybe the vicious fan clutch needs a closer inspection. AdventureWagon suggests that when you spin the fan it should stop in on revolution. When I spin mine it stops dead after I let go. Is this good or bad. As stated previously there is no over heating...

Would I not hear the turbo when cold as well. I only get the whistle when engine very hot.
