    Hi Thommo, I also have a 2004 Toyota Sahara with the same clicking noise behind the dash, especially noticeable when sitting at the traffic lights. Yes, it definitely sounds like a gear stripping or a solenoid flipping out! Toyota Service in Hobart seems to put it in the" too hard" basket...
