I'm curious to know if you ever got this sorted, and what the solution turned out to be. My first guess would be a bad ground/short that is dropping the voltage so much that the EDIC motor shuts the fuel off, or possibly a bad column ignition switch. I am currently sorting out electrical...
I just acquired a used Fairey overdrive for my '84 HJ 47. What arrived was two heavy boxes of gears, levers, and case parts. I have no idea how it all goes together, but I will check out SOR for a manual!
