Gutted! I was investigating a squeak that has appeared today when I found a rusty hole in the chassis near the anti roll bar link mounting on the off side rear. I am really not happy, anyone else had rust there and is there any other likely places that I should be looking at?. My 1990 Hilux...

I have bought some Mintex discs and pads from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/PREMIER-FACTOR ... 4340.l2563 on ebay discs £54 and pads £23 free delivery and fast too, I was impressed so I bought some rear pads off them as well £20.

Did I read correctly that Collie rear springs are the same as 80 fronts?

Rough trax sell them too using rancho dampers slightly cheaper than IM if memory serves. It is the same kit for the kzn185 surf.

What is a realistic fuel consumption figure for a 120 diesel (round town mostly) I'm guessing better than my Colorado with a 1KZTE. What should I look out for before buying? chears in advance.

Looking at it a roll pin should work. The hinge is a pressed affair so any good machine shop should be able to drill it out to a slightly larger diameter to take out the wear and fit a new pin. Mmm sounds like a plan, all I need now is another hinge to experiment on. :think:

How difficult is it to replace the back door bottom hinge on a colly I assume its a toyota only part. Anyone got an idea of how much they cost? just so I know whether to sit down before I phone to order one or not!

Are the wheels Mickey Thompson's? what offset are they? and do you have an trouble with them rubbing? have you done anything else to get the tires to clear the arches? the silver one looks the mutts nuts. :clap:

Hi all Has anyone fitted 35" tyres to a Colorado? I have a 2" suspension lift and 1.5" body lift I already run 33's but dont know anyone with 35's on 16" rims to try. The 35's on 15's off my surf won't go on due to brake caliper clearance problems. Cheers Dave.
