Looks like it's fixed- great. For what it's worth I had loud squeaking recently from engine bay (105-non-turbo) and this site and others suggested belts. Changed them (1/air-con plus 2/ alternator) and now quiet again. I found bent alternator belt tensioner and bracket so replaced with OEM...

This works for us- Maggiolina on Rhino racks, collapsible ladder, IronMan awning. Cheers from Oz.

Big problem with seat for me in my LC 105. Thanks for these suggestions. Will also try lambswool seat cover with various inserts but not really confident. Curiously my Defender v basic seat fine after long trips- better lumbar support.

Transferring the Maggiolina from the Defender (goodbye) to the LandCruiser (hello) and then first LC camp with the new vehicle. Installed b/bar, d/lights, snorkel, awning, dual batteries, fridge. Very fortunate that my wife likes 4wd/camping as much as me- (phew).

Has anyone found their driving seat (100/105 series) uncomfortable- partic. lower back support? I'm very surprised with this problem in my 'new' LC- having trouble with mine-(aching back/crook neck etc.) 13 year old seat I wonder if it's just got tired- I'd go for an aftermarket seat but v. big $.
