Battery bungs

New battery arrived today for Fiery and comes with battery bungs when being transported, big letters in red say remove before use.

Had a little chuckle to myself, when you fit the battery and drive the vehicle......it's still technically being transported?

Yes I know it's in case it tips over but these things humour me.

I had the same on the new Numax that I bought, were they bits of mastic in the breather holes Trev?

Ah, they must be a tad more expensive than the Numax's then as mine only came with a dolop of mastic in the hole and a note suggesting that one may wish to remove it
