pool maintenance hazards!

What do I have to put up with? snakes in the pool, snakes in the skimmers, and now snakes.....................................................keeping warm under the pump motor!
Had to poke him with a stick to get him out!

Dont know, but we have them as well. They are pretty cool until you disturb the bonfire they are sleeping under, then they get pretty cross !

Tis a Western Whipsnake, a grass snake. Can be quite aggressive, rear up and even bite - here is one I took a few years ago, in our garden - the dogs were going bonkers!
