I am looking out for my next vehicle, a Cruiser:thumbup:
Now looking out there, there's LC2/3/4/5 and 90/100/120/150 Prefacelift and Facelift models plus other confusing data
How can you id which model your looking at.............easily (if at all possible)

Age.

90 is and older 120, which in turn is an older LC2/

On the LC 2/3etc the number is the spec level.

The 100 is the later version of the 80.

Dunno about 150/200's :)

Each has its good points and bad points, so narrow it down to what you need then look for the best of that one.

90, 120 and then 150 are the prado series. On the 120 and 150 the trim level is indicated by lc 2/3/4/5.
80 to 100 to 200 are the land cruiser series.
The 70 series are the landcruisers built for industrial use.

Not all series are sold everywhere, and there are different engine specs and suspension, running gear specs even within the same series depending on where it was sold by Toyota and when.

Hpw about we turn the question around a bit to what have you been driving in the past? And what / where do you intend to drive to in the cruiser?

This isn't by any means comprehensive, but at least covers the models you described. Only issues is different countries have different names for some models and variants.

Thanks for the relies guys, I'm a little better informed.
My past 4 wheeler driving has been Scooby pick up, Hilux Single cab, Trooper SWB Commercial and Terrano
No serious off roading just building sites, fields, tracks. Intentions, much the same, 4x4 Responce, maybe pay n play
