Hi, I'm new here and sadly I have joined to see if there are any Land Cruiser lovers who might like to buy my 1997 (R reg) Short Wheel Based Colorado in Green. It has a manual gearbox and a 3.0L diesel engine.
I have owned the car since 2011. It started life as a demonstrator and it's first registered owner was the garage. It was purchased as a company vehicle for my dad by his boss (the second registered owner) and was used daily in the construction industry. It has been maintained for all it's working life by the plant fitters and no expense was spared. My dad was the third registered owner and I am the fourth. It is a UK model, not an import.

It was recorded as Category C damaged in 2009. This was due to a low speed front end bump at a roundabout when the car in front went to pull away and then changed it's mind! The impact happened at walking pace and the damage was minimal but the bumper and headlights required to fix it were expensive. The car was repaired immediately and was back on the road in December 2009 without further problem. The repair is not noticeable.
I have been using the car for general driving and occasional towing of my horsebox. It's a beast and makes light work of the job. The car always starts first time and it runs and drives well. It is MOT'd until the end of January 2018.
Obviously this is an old car, it has age related wear to the exterior and the interior as expected.
I don't think the sunroof works (I use the aircon) and the CD player can be a bit choosy about what it plays!
